Recycling obsolete medical equipment to support rural healthcare.
caREcycled is a Texas nonprofit in formation working to collect, refurbish, and responsibly recycle outdated medical equipment, then use proceeds to help rural hospitals and medical facilities.
Now forming in East Texas
- Seeking founding board members
- Building rural healthcare partnerships
- Focused on non-biohazard, obsolete equipment
- Serving rural medical facilities and hospitals
Our Mission
caREcycled exists to reduce waste and strengthen rural healthcare. Many hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities retire equipment that may still have reuse, resale, scrap, or recycling value. Our goal is to keep that equipment out of landfills and turn its remaining value into support for rural medical facilities.
Recover
We seek to collect obsolete, outdated, surplus, or retired medical equipment from healthcare facilities, clinics, offices, and community partners.
Reuse or Recycle
Usable equipment may be refurbished or redistributed when safe and appropriate. Non-usable equipment may be responsibly recycled through qualified partners.
Reinvest
After operating costs, proceeds are intended to support rural hospitals and medical facilities through donations, equipment support, and community healthcare projects.
What We Hope to Collect
